BRAXTON GETS $50,000 EDA GRANTS |

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is providing the Braxton County Development Authority with a $50,000 grant to help expand local business. The USDA is providing $3.15 million for four rural development projects in West Virginia. The funding includes a $3 million loan for the Harrison Rural Electrification Association to improve electrical service in Barbour, Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Taylor, Lewis and Upshur counties. Two energy-related projects will also receive funding. |
