BRAXTON MAN CHARGED WITH STEALING ATV AFTER ACCIDENT

Travis Lee Cook, 28 (left) of Braxton County, is facing multiple criminal charges. Cook is charged with burglary, grand larceny, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of battery on an officer. When police arrived on scene Tuesday to an ATV accident, they discovered the 4-wheeler was stolen. Cook, according to police, tried to fight two of the officers. He is being held on $95,000 bond. The Sutton Detachment of WVSP is investigating.
