| Helen Bates, 73, of Pink Community, Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, passed away October 4, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter of Jim and Opal Dillon Feltner.
Surviving are her children, Gary Bates of Berkley Springs WV, Wayne Bates of Tennessee , David Bates of Maryland, and Paula Bates of North Carolina; one brother, Earl Feltner of Virginia.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
