WIRT VOTERS RENEW SCHOOL LEVY

Voters in Wirt County overwhelmingly approved a school levy Tuesday, a renewal of previous levy. Beginning in July 2012, the levy will provide $736,000 for five years for the school system. With all 9 precincts reporting, the levy passed 691 for to 354 votes against.
