Driver traveling west on State Rt.
5 clips utility pole Friday night
A driver reported to be 55-years-old lost control on a straight stretch of State Route 5 about three miles east of Grantsville Friday night and clipped a utility pole.
Calhoun EMS and the Grantsville VFD responded to the call at 10:15 p.m.
Police on the scene indicated the man was likely intoxicated, refusing medical treatment.
When State Police placed him in a cruiser, he began complaining of multiple injuries and was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System for evaluation. |
