REGISTRATION STILL OPEN FOR GRANT WRITING WORKSHOP - Event Will Be Held At Creston

Our Community's Foundation - The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation (PACF) and the Regional Affiliates of Doddridge, Ritchie, Jackson, Mason Counties and the Little Kanawha Area (Wirt/Calhoun) - is still accepting registrations for its free workshop on grant proposal writing on Monday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. - noon at the Creston Community Building in Creston.

Representatives from non-profit organizations, government entities, and schools are invited to attend the workshop to learn more about the Foundation's grantmaking process.

The workshop, led by Foundation Program Officer Marian Clowes, will provide participants with information about applying for a grant from Our Community's Foundation, including requests for support from the Little Kanawha Area Community Foundation affiliate.

The program will cover the Foundation's grantmaking priorities, tips on preparing an effective grant request, and training and advice on grantseeking and proposal writing.

The Foundation makes grants twice each year, in the fall and spring, to nonprofit organizations, government entities, and schools in Wood, Mason, Jackson, Wirt, Calhoun, Ritchie, Roane, Doddridge, Pleasants, and Gilmer Counties in West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio.
