Roger Lee Cottrell, 59, of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away September 4, 2011 at Roane General Hospital in Spencer. He was born February 26, 1952 in Calhoun County a son of the late Paris and Opal Cottrell. Surviving are his wife, Rose Lee Cottrell; one daughter, Heather (Brad) Nichols of Charleston WV; one brother, Clinton (Mandy) Cottrell of Spencer WV; one sister, Norma (Danny) Schartiger of Arnoldsburg WV; a stepson, Jackie (Tammy) Buzzard of Waynesboro PA; a stepdaughter, Vicky Ramsey of Clay WV; 3 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 4 nephews. A celebration of Rogers life will be held Sunday, September 18 at his home for family and friends at 602 Cottrell Road, Chloe WV. Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
