Pamela Holley Kidd, 52, of Walton, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011, in Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after a long battle with renal failure and diabetes. She was born November 8, 1958, at Montgomery, a daughter of the late Henry and Edith Harper Holley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special aunt, Margaret Holbert. Pamela was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and making her special Christmas cookies with her grandsons. She was a member of the Church of Christ and attended services at Gandeeville WV. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Jack and Crystal Barnett of Gandeeville and Joey Barnett of Charleston WV; a daughter, Kristina Kidd and her fiancé, Brian Cottrell of Spencer WV; two grandsons, Isaac and Jordan Barnett of Gandeeville; her very important "special someone," Joe Smith of Walton; a sister, Shelia Cantrell of Columbus OH; two brothers, Mike Holley of Spencer and Joe Holley of Columbus OH; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, September 5 at 3:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Minister Robin Kessinger officiating. Burial will be in the Holbert Family Cemetery, Cotton Tree. Friends may call Monday three hours prior to the service. Donations may be made to the Family of Pamela Kidd, c/o John H.
