Donald M. O'Brien, Jr., 61, of Spencer, WV, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg,
after a two month battle with cancer.
He was born April 15, 1941, in Spencer, the son of the late Donald M. and Peggy Starcher O'Birien, Sr. He was the maintenance
supervisor at the WV Department of Administration, Parkersburg, WV and had 41 years service to the State of WV. He was a
member of the Memorial United Methodist Church, Spencer.
Survivors include his wife, Sue O'Brien of Spencer; son and daughter-in-law, Donald M. and DeAnna O'Brien, III of
Parkersburg; step-daughter, Jessica Haught of Spencer; step grandchildren, Nicholas and Tabitha; mother-in-law, Pauline Davis
of Spencer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice O'Brien in 1982.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 29 at 11 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with
the Reverend Garry L. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the Spencer Memorial Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
