The Calhoun Middle-High School cross country team opened its 2011 season Saturday morning by competing in the Autumn Classic at St. Marys.

The Red Devils had three boys compete in the male high school division with freshman William Baker leading the way with a time of 23:27. Baker was a member of the middle school cross country team last year. Second for Calhoun was freshman Tyler Gerwig with a time of 25:24.
