Grace (Tink) Hathaway Bower died at her Lexington, Kentucky home on August 1, 2011. She was born in Grantsville the daughter of Oral C. and Grace M. Hathaway. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan E. Bower; 2 sons, Terry Bower and Jonathan Bower; a daughter-in-law, Karen Nutter Bower; 2 brothers, Oral C. (Buck) Hathaway, Jr. and George Barr Hathaway; 2 sisters, Betty Gibson Sturm and Lelia Fay Rose. She is survived by 5 sisters, Mary Mathews of Vienna WV, Patricia (Hudd) Targgart of Atherton CA, Martha Ranson of San Bruno CA, Sarah Frederick of Coxs Mills WV and Judy (Joe) Gaunt of Green Bay WI. A celebration of her life will be held at First United Methodist Church, 4131 Todds Road, Lexington at 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 04, 2011. Speakers will be Todd Nelson, Pastor, Hudd Targgart, Joe Gaunt and Doug McKenzie.
