PROPERTY CRIMES SPIKING IN CALHOUN

There is a spike in property crimes in Calhoun during recent months.

The Calhoun County Sheriff's Department is reporting five current incidents they are investigating.

July 5 - Petit larceny of tailgate, Arnoldsburg

July 5 - Burglary, petit larceny, Euclid-Nicut Road

July 12 - Petit larceny, entering without breaking, Arnoldsburg

August 15 - Burglary, petit larceny, Lovada Road

August 15 - breaking and entering, petit larceny Cremo Church

Sheriff Allen Parsons said these are not all the ongoing investigations.

The Grantsville Detachment of the WV State Police declined to provide public information regarding property crimes.
