CALHOUN WAITS TO RECEIVE PAYMENT FOR GOVERNOR ELECTION

Calhoun is one of many WV counties that have yet to receive payment for the May special election for governor. The county has submitted a bill for about $19,000 for the cost of holding the election. Many WV counties are complaining about the reimbursement, with another election approaching in October. A handful of counties have been paid.
