Lawrence William Keith, 83 - Sand Fork

Lawrence William Keith age 83 of Low Gap Road, Sand Fork, West Virginia, departed this life at 8:00 a.m., Sunday, August 21, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born October 21, 1927 in Gilmer County a son of the late Opha and Katie Campbell Keith.

Lawrence was an Army veteran of World War II, former employee of Cleveland Steel Mill and upon moving back to Gilmer County he went to work and retired from I.L. Morris Oil and Gas.

On August 13, 1951 he was married to Agnes Thompson Keith who survives at their Low Gap home.

Also surviving are one daughter Linda Feigenbaum of Columbus OH; two grandchildren, Shianne and Shannon Feigenbaum of Columbus along with 3 great grandchildren, Devon, Austin and Shyler Feigenbaum; one brother, Asa Keith of Stouts Mill WV; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Lawrence was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Keith; 2 brothers, Orville Lee and Opha; 4 sisters, Eula Mae, Helen, Goldie and Marie.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 25, at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., Glenville with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiney Hill Cemetery at Linn WV.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
