Evalene Yoak Reed, 58 of Lancaster OH, formerly of Creston West Virginia, passed away August 19, 2011 after a short illness. She was born August 26, 1952 in Mahone WV the daughter of Dessel Haney Hardman and Otha Yoak. She is survived by her husband John Reed; father, Otha Yoak of Lancaster; 2 daughters, Delphia Scharf and Ann Plantz both of Lancaster; 1 son, Roger Ameck of Breman OH; 1 sister, Linda Stutler of Elizabeth WV; 1 brother, Gerald Yoak of Elizabeth; 6 half sisters, Barbara, Christine, Wanda, Elizabeth, Gloria and Rachel and 1 half brother, Chad all of Lancaster; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her mother; 1 brother, Delmas; 1 sister, Connie; 2 half brothers, Lloyd and Dallas; 1 half sister, Vermeal; and stepmother, Flora Yoak. Her family will be holding a memorial service August 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Rising Park in Lancaster, Ohio.
