MAN WHO STABBED POLICEMAN HAS DIED - A man who stabbed a Fairmont Police officer in the throat, the officer shooting the man in self-defense, has died at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Hobert Livingston, 22, was facing one count of attempted murder and five counts of wanton endangerment with a firearm following the incident where he assaulted officer Ryan Powley coming out of a courtroom.

A seven-year police veteran, Powley suffered a deep laceration to the front of the throat, with other defensive wounds. He is recovering at his home.

HUNTINGTON STABBING AND SHOOTING - Huntington police are looking for a suspect who shot a woman in the back.

It happened in the area of 17th Street and Artisan Avenue around 4 am.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting.

A Huntington man is recovering in the hospital after he was stabbed on 11th Street. Police say Aaron Bowman was stabbed in the back, authorities saying he was seriously injured.

Police are investigating the incident.

TEEN KILLS FATHER - An 18-year-old Princeton man who was a star athlete in the area has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of his father.

Tevin Allen has turned himself into authorities.

Police have not said what motive Allen may have had for shooting 35-year-old James Sanchez Scott.

Princeton media says Allen was a second-team all-state running back in 2009, rushing for 1,574 yards and 11 touchdowns.

In addition, he played varsity basketball, leading the team in scoring on several occasions in the 2009-10 season.

CHARLESTON HEIST - Two Charleston residents were threatened with a gun and robbed.

Police are saying Davon Fields held up Joshua Crane and Morgan Mclane in an apartment.

According to the criminal complaint, Fields pointed a gun at the pair and demanded their money.

Mclane refused to cooperate and Fields allegedly pushed her down on the floor.

Crane and Mclane were chased from the apartment, jumping out of the second floor window.

Fields has been charged with robbery, wanton endangerment and assault.
