BRAXTON WOMAN CHARGED WITH NEGLECT OF INCAPACITATED CHILD

West Virginia State Police have charged a Flatwoods, Braxton County woman with child neglect, causing risk of injury. Police are saying that Christal Gale Morrison, 32, allegedly left a disabled child home alone for several hours. The child was reported to be blind and mentally incapacitated. The complaint says that the the child was found in a bathtub full of hot water, and was covered in feces, medical and cosmetic creams. Morrison is lodged in Central Regional Jail with bail set at $100,000.00. The State Police are continuing the investigation.
