HUNTERS CAN KILL SOME WV ANIMALS YEAR ROUND

WV-DNR says West Virginians can hunt some animals year round. The list is growing. You can hunt coyotes, possums, skunks, groundhogs, European starlings and pigeons all year. Coyotes can now be hunted at night from January 1 through July 31 with green, amber or red lights. You must use either a .22 caliber or smaller rifle and nothing larger than a 4-shot shotgun. There's a lot of new season changes and regulations listed in the   2011-2012 Hunting Regulations
