GILMER MAN ARRESTED FLEEING ON ATV - Felony Charge Child Neglect

A Glimer County man is facing several charges after running from police on his four-wheeler with a 4-year old child on the vehicle. Kevin Curry, 22, is facing at least one felony charge of child neglect. Central Regional Jail says Curry has also been charged with obstructing an officer, reckless driving and for being a prohibited driver on an ATV. Bail has been set at $100,000. Police responded when Curry was reportedly riding his four wheeler improperly. When police tried to pull him over, Curry ran with his girlfriend and her four-year-old child on the four wheeler. The child was not wearing a helmet.
