Officers have identified the victim as Raymond Lemon, 62.

Lemon was driving a motorcycle around 7 p.m. Tuesday, when he came around a turn, struck a mailbox and then hit a power pole.

Responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

The investigation is continuing.
