| Helen G. Kerby, 84, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Minnie Hamilton Health System Long Term Care, Grantsville, WV.
She was born in Calhoun County on April 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Loxie Park Riggs and Roxie Zettie Cooper.
She is survived by one son, Freddie V. Kerby and Joann Westfall of Grantsville; four daughters, Karen Sue Stallman and husband Eugene of Dorset, Ohio, Linda Criss and Gerald "Pug" Smith of Grantsville, Annabell Jones and husband Junior "JR" of Big Bend, and Diana Miller and husband Tim of Creston, WV; two brothers Leon Riggs of Parkersburg, WV and Burl Riggs and wife Polly of Akron, Ohio; 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie L. Kerby; one son, Leon E. Kerby; one grandson; one granddaughter; one great-great grandson; 2 brothers, Leo V. Riggs and Donald Riggs; and one sister, Millie Folk.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Homes, Inc., Grantsville on Wednesday, July 20 at 1 p.m. Interment will be Bryner Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
