WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - WVU Football Player Charged With Armed Robbery

WVU FOOTBALL PLAYER CHARGED - Mountaineer linebacker Nicholas "Branko" Busick has been charged with armed robbery, after he was found with two men and a woman at an apartment building in Morgantown.

A news release says he has been dismissed from the team.

Police say it started around 5:00 p.m. Monday night, when the victim claimed a man pointed a gun at him and two people who were with him at one of the apartments.

The man demanded some cash, but when he didn't get any, he apparently hit the victim repeatedly with the gun.

Busick was arrested after officers searched the building. The incident is still under investigation.

"KEYING" CARS CAUSES $18,000 DAMAGE - Huntington police say nearly two dozen vehicles on Huntington's southside were damaged by a man who said he was "angry."

Twenty-year-old Brendan Legg used a folding pocket knife with a nearly 4-inch blade to "key" the cars.

Police say a couple of witnesses saw Legg cutting the cars, called them and followed him to make sure he didn't get away.

Police were able to catch him.

Legg is charged with felony destruction of property and carrying a concealed weapon and is in Western Regional Jail.
