Calhoun Circuit Court has a short session scheduled Thursday morning starting at 9:30 a.m., with Judge Thomas Evans III presiding.

Only one felony case is on the docket, Daniel Mark Johnson, with the court considering a plea.

Six juvenile cases are on the docket.

Spencer Newspapers reports that Jesse "Moe" Starcher, 48, of Spencer, entered a guilty plea Tuesday in Calhoun Circuit Court.

Starcher had been charged with attempting to obtain a controlled substance by misrepresentation.

A complaint says Starcher presented a forged prescription for Ritalin in 2009 at Grantsville's Rite Aid pharmacy.
