He was born Aug. 28, 1946, in Calhoun County, a son of the late Hildred Lee McWilliams and Sarah Jane (Selmon) McWilliams.

Mac was retired from the oil and gas industry and was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are four sons, Jason McWilliams of Parkersburg, Damon McWilliams of Parkersburg, Daniel McWilliams of Williamstown and Warren McWilliams of Elizabeth; a brother, Delbert McWilliams of South Carolina; and three granddaughters, Deborah, Brittany and Katie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Lou (Richards) McWilliams in 2003.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with Pastor Alfred Hickman officiating. Interment with full military honors provided by Harris-Ritchie VFW Post 3554 will follow at the Hardman Chapel Cemetery, Smithville, W.Va.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday.
