Justin Yeager (no photo available) and Jerama Stuart competed for the class Title for SkillsUSA Ornamental sculpture competition. Although Justin went on to compete at the state level, Jerama received a $5000 scholarship at Lincoln Institue of Technology for competing at the regional level with Yeager.

Many technology programs offer welding technology students a scholarship for competing in SkillsUSA competitions. "Overall it has been a good year for our program and it looks like we have an even higher number of students enrolled for next year," said Carl Collins, Welding Technology Instructor.
