Helen Virginia Nicholas, 84 - Grantsville

Helen Virginia Nicholas, 84, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, June 5, 2011. She was born March 5, 1927, a daughter of the late John Spencer and Zona Lou Sleeth Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Cleston Nicholas; 3 children, Mitch (Diana) Nicholas of Evans WV, Rick (Lisa) Nicholas of Grantsville, and Vicki (Ron) Siegrist of Danville VA; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and one sister Mary Lou (Gary) Grose. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Benton and Brian Rogers; sisters, Nora and Ayla, 3 children, Charles, Steven and Toni. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in Nobe Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12-noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
