Glen Siers visited with his son Jerry in Northfield, Ohio a few weeks ago and had a wonderful visit with his family there.

Jerry and Glens grandson Bill played the guitar. Jerry's grandson who is 3 years old played along with them. that little feller knows all the words to Rocky Top. I hope to meet him one day.

I spent a week in Nicholas County with Heather, Ben and the girls. Saturday was beautiful and the rest of the week was rainy. They brought me home Friday evening. I mowed the grass Saturday and we had our family reunion on Sunday as we do every year. Betty and Edsel Arnold, Carolyn Knotts, Wanda Daily and husband Doc, Heather, Ben, Ruby, Lea, Glen Siers, and Blaine King attended.

It was a good day and I enjoy having the reunion here at Daddy's house. Aunt Nell is in a nursing home near Ripley and aunt Juanita is living with Larry Cottrell and his wife now. I miss them but when you get up in the nineties you're ready to go. The reunion is smaller every year.

I took Bear with me to Heather's and he did well. He run her mother-in-law's dog back up on the hill. He didn't like the thunder and lighting and tucked himself against the wall on the porch. He's a good dog and everyone likes him.

Glen Siers and I planted incredible corn on Monday. Late, but it will make it.

Sorry that Wanda Richards is not feeling so well and hope she gets better soon. I worry about her, she's known me all my life.

I walked to the store in Chloe and had a nice visit there with Ken and John. It had been over a week since I've been there. Good people at the Chloe Hardware.

Everyone have a wonderful week!
