MAN RECEIVES HEAD TRAUMA IN WALNUT RD. ACCIDENT - Life-Flighted To Charleston Area Medical Center

A 55-year male, the driver of a vehicle that crashed over an embankment on Walnut Road Friday night at 8 p.m. was life-flighted by HealthNet, suffering from head trauma.

The accident happened a short distance off Rt. 16 near Chloe.

A passenger in the vehicle did not require medical attention.

The man was air-lifted from the Upper West Fork Park to Charleston Area Medical Center.

The Upper West Fork Fire Department and Calhoun EMS responded to the scene.

State Police are investigating the accident.
