MEMORIAL WEEKEND - Gunshot Victim, Motorcyle Accident

State Police are investigating a shooting that happened at a residence off Norman Ridge Monday night about 8 p.m. A 35-year-old man was taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System and then life-flighted by chopper to a regional medical center. Authorities said the man was suffering from a .22 caliber gunshot to the head, his condition is serious. Emergency services responded to a motorcycle accident on Sand Ridge Hill Sunday morning, with the Ohio driver taken to Minnie Hamilton Health System, reportedly with a broken arm and possibly other injuries.
