Hazel U. Rockhold 90, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away Sunday May 29, 2011. She was born in Wirt County the daughter of the Late Jeremiah and Sally (Leasure) Lockhart. She was a member of the Buffalo Church. She is survived by her children, Frankie (Paul) Lockhart of Palestine WV, Marie Hackathorn, Carol (Greg) Stanley, and Larry Smith of all of Parkersburg, Clarance (Bud) Keeder, and Kenny Rhodes of Elizabeth WV; ex husband, James Rockhold of Parkersburg; 1 special granddaughter, Linda Rockhold of Parkersburg; 1 sister, Marie Frost of California; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Keeder; 1 daughter, Sue Smith; 1 son, Grover Keeder; 3 brothers, Clyde Lockhart, Ernie Lockhart, and Carol Lockhart. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Pastor Dave Morris officiating. Interment will be at Buffalo Cemetery of Mayberry WV. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
