DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CALLS RISING - Woman Claims She Was 'Head-Butted Three Times'

(05/17/2011)
Calls to Calhoun's 911 Center reporting domestic violence have been increasing for several days.

The West Virginia State Police and the Calhoun Sheriff's Department have answered multiple calls, some with reports of firearms being present.

Monday night the State Police responded to a 911 call from a Five Forks woman who said her significant other had "head-butted her three times."

When police arrived, the male involved in the altercation had left the scene.

The woman declined medical attention.
