(05/18/2002)

Commissioner Larry McCallister (L) and David Barr (R) canvass ballots

The Calhoun Commission met yesterday morning for about three hours to canvass votes from Tuesday's primary election.

Twenty-six challenged ballots made little difference in voter outcome. One precinct was hand-counted to validate the optical scanner, which is used to tabulate the ballots.
