Oras H. Wade, 72 - Glenville

Oras H. Wade, 72, of Glenville, West Virginia, passed away May 13, 2011 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport WV.

He was born February 7, 1939 at Dekalb in Gilmer County a son of Audra Wade of Tanner and the late Herbert Wade.

He was an alumni of Tanner High School, a US Army Veteran and former employee of the Carl E. Smith Company.

Surviving are his wife, Margie Wade; a son, Oras Wade Jr. of Rosedale WV; a daughter, Dinah Roberts of Glenville; stepchildren are, Randall A. Collins of Atlanta GA, Kenneth Summers of Burnsville WV, Lewis Summers and Richard Summers both of Glenville and Anna Wade of Strasburg VA; his mother, Audra Wade of Tanner; 2 grandchildren, Cassandra Louise Roberts and Jenna Wade Knotts; 11 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; two brothers, Delmas Wade of Grantsville and Clyde Wade of Tanner.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his first wife Velda Collins Wade; and 2 sisters, Edith Bush and Lorraine Wade.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville WV. Rev. Ronzel Roberts and Rev. Kenny Kendall will officiate. Interment will be in the Three Poplar Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of services, Wednesday.
