MAN SHOT HUNTING - WVDNR says a hunting accident in Harrison County is a warning hunters should make sure they identify their targets.

Police responded to a shooting on Route 58 near Bridgeport where they say three men were turkey hunting when 40-year-old Kenneth Bennington was hit with shot gun pellets.

Bennington was taken to United Hospital Center for injuries to the upper chest, head, and neck.

Police are saying the accident was a case of mistaken identity, a man for a turkey.

MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING ARMED HOLD-UP - A Man is behind bars for an alleged armed robbery in Monongalia County.

Authorities say Randall Hank Williams tried to rob the All Star Express on Point Marion Road during the early morning hours Sunday.

Police say Williams said he had a weapon and tried to take the cash.

Customers in the store quickly confronted Williams, and he was held until officers arrived on scene.

He has been charged with armed robbery and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
