MURDER IN HUNTINGTON - Huntington police are searching for a killer after a shooting in one of the cities high-crime neighborhoods.

The victim has been identified as Henry Earle, 28.

Earle was reportedly hanging out with a group of people Thursday night when the shooting started.

A neighborhood watch person said, "We heard they were shooting dice and he won some money," during a cook-out at some apartments.

Police say they have very little to go on.

Police indicate Earle had a Proctorville, Ohio address, but is originally from Detroit and has family in Huntington.

MAN CHARGED AFTER STAND-OFF - A South Charleston man allegedly pulled a gun on police officers in what resulted in a stand-off.

Police say David Camehl, 61, came out of his house waving a gun.

Neighbors said Camehl's behavior was out of character. They said the Vietnam veteran was highly intoxicated.

Police were responding to another call when the man came out of a house, waving a gun.

"He was pointing the weapon in all general directions. He didn't actually aim the weapon at anyone, but he did produce the weapon," according to Chief of Detectives Joel Gray.

A brief standoff ensued with Camehl attempting to barricade himself, but not before he was placed under arrest.

Police said they took approximately nine weapons, pistols and long guns from the residence.

Camehl has been charged with wanton endangerment.
