| Sandra K. Roberts, 66 of Elizabeth West Virginia, passed away May 6, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg, after an extended illness.
She was born April 20, 1945 the daughter of the late Nelson Ray and Leola Hall Whited.
She was a 1963 graduate of Wirt County High School and worked at Challenger Electric of Parkersburg WV for 27 years and Rest Care 16th Street Group Home of Parkersburg WV for 18 years where she was the manager.
Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, crocheting, gardening and Facebooking.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Bruce Roberts; daughter, Gennie Villers and her husband Randy of Elizabeth; son, Charles Roberts of Elizabeth; 2 grandchildren, Josh Villers of Parkersburg and James Roberts of Wrightsville PA; 2 brothers-in-law, Larry and Darrell Roberts of Elizabeth; 3 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Via of Elizabeth, Vesta Bunner of Vienna WV and Garnet Whited of Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 brother, Charles Whited; 1 sister, Barbara Davis; 1 brother-in-law, Eber Dale Davis.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 9 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev. Dean Ash officiating. Visitation will be Sunday May 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at the K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.
