TRIO ARRESTED FOR METH MAKING IN RIPLEY - Match Purchase At Krogers Tips Police

Three people have been arrested in Ripley on charges relating to the manufacture of meth, according to the Ripley Police Department.

The Jackson Star News says a call from Kroger's led Ripley Police to arrest the trio, after one of the accused entered the store and purchased a large number of matches.

Charges have been filed against Lelia Hardway and her son Justin, both who had a Grantsville address, and a friend of Hardway's, Robert Gordon. They have been released from Central Regional Jail on $25,000 bond.

During the search of a vehicle, Ripley police discovered a small, silver container with two smaller bags inside with a white powder like substance believed to be methamphetamine. Officers also found a loaded 9mm pistol, 9mm ammo, glass pipe, batteries, peroxide, suphedrine and matches.
