GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE PERDUE WILL MEET PUBLIC FRIDAY IN GRANTSVILLE

(05/05/2011)
John Perdue will be visiting Calhoun this Friday, and will be in Grantsville at 4:45 p.m. in the Little courtroom at the Courthouse.

So far, he is the only candidate to visit the county.

Perdue is inviting the public to meet with him and ask questions they might have about his candidacy.

"West Virginia stands at a crossroads. While other states are raising taxes and cutting jobs and services, West Virginia can begin to provide real opportunity by investing in our people, businesses and state," Perdue said.

"My campaign will focus on three key areas: jobs and the economy; people and public safety; and improving the state's education system."
