Pleasant Hill Elementary School dedicated its new flagpole on Tuesday, April 26. It is a 30 foot aluminum pole and is flying a five by eight foot American flag.

The student body assembled on the front sidewalk and in the parking lot for the ceremony. Mrs. Whited's kindergarten class led the students and staff in the singing of the National Anthem, followed by Cub Scout Pack 436 leading the Pledge of Allegiance.

Music director John Bugby then conducted the students in singing a patriotic medley. Each participant received a small American flag as a souvenir.
