| Milbry C. "Rick" Rickard, 69, formerly of Grantsville, West Virginia, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana, Ohio.
He was born in St. Paris, Ohio, the son of the late Cecil R. and Opal V. Crouse Rickard.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene K. Rickard of Grantsville; two daughters, Amy Boerger of Marysville, Ohio, and Jodi L. Minor of Urbana; one step-daughter, Lori Taylor of Grantsville; three step-sons, Kenneth Bradley of Florida, Scott Bradley of Ohio and Rob Bradley of Grantsville; one sister, Moyna Ritter of Troy, Ohio; two brothers, Monte Rickard of Springfield, Ohio, and Joe Rickard of Fletcher, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Medra Swiger.
Following his wishes, the body was cremated.
Memorial services were held Saturday, April 30 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, with Pastor Don Stilgenbauer officiating.
