WOMAN ARRESTED IN CLAY FOR CREDIT CARD FRAUD |

A Clendenin woman has been arrested in Clay County and charged with credit card fraud, according to a criminal complaint.
Police said the victim of the crime was Samples' former mother-in-law. The compliant says [Crystal] Samples opened credit cards using her mother-in-laws information, and made charges on the cards at numerous locations. During the investigation, Samples said she opened the account on-line in March, 2009, according to the complaint. The victim of the crime was unaware of the credit card fraud until January, 2011.
