Incumbent Calhoun Commissioner David Barr, unopposed, received 270
votes, and will face Democratic newcomer Rick Sampson this fall.
Republican candidate Lyle Kerby was unopposed for the nomination for
House of Delegates, receiving 272 votes. He will face incumbent Delegate
Bill Stemple this fall in the 33rd Delegate District. Stemple received
1,014
Hazel Lane, Charles McKown and Dan McDonald were elected to the
Republican Executive Committee.
