The Saturday evening storm was a great thing to see here in Chloe. The wind was blowing the limbs straight out. The lighting and thunder wasn't so bad, it was the wind. It did sound like a train coming. I loved it and the fact that it didn't last too long was calming. Never seen anything like it here before.

Sorry I didn't mention that Judy Shaffer attended Paris Parsons' birthday party with her husband tommy.

I got the results from the CT Scan and I have a chronic sinus infection and am taking 875mg a combination Penicillin broad-spectrum antibiotic Amoxicillin and a Beta-lactamase inhibitor Clavulanic acid. I have five more days left and I'm feeling a little better.

Glen Siers heard a whippoorwill the other evening above his yard. I would love to hear one. it would bring back the good old days. Glen is a good true story teller. He told me about his journey to Japan on route to Korea being on a battleship out in the storms of the ocean. It took 26 days to get there. Everyone on ship got sick as did Glen and he asked for a raw potato that helped him back to health. I'm proud to know him and appreciate what he went through for America.

Genie Bailey visited with me Monday and told me that mushroom hunting this spring is slow. She only found 60 because of too much rain.

Genie bought herself and Glen Siers a mushroom that Mark English carved out of wood. Mark does beautiful work.

The wild mustard in the bottom is beautiful. Lilacs smell so good.

I bought a chain for Bear so that I can tie him up. When I leave with someone in a vehicle he chases after it and I just don't want him to get hurt.

Everyone have a wonderful week!
