WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Knife Fight Leaves Man Dead, More Gambling Parlor Heists

BERKLEY MURDER - Berkeley County authorities are looking for two men in connection with a knife fight that left one man dead and another injured.

Police say Andre Jackson, 21, is dead and Jacques Taylor, 26, is being treated at a Martinsburg hospital.

A murder warrant has been issued for James Glenn Cross Jr., 32, of Kearneysville. A second suspect, Thomas Anthony Grantham, 34, of Martinsburg, is charged with malicious wounding.

Police are accusing Grantham of stabbing Taylor and trying to run over Jackson with a vehicle.

Police are unclear about what started the fight.

ANOTHER VIDEO PARLOR HEIST - Video gambling parlors have become favorite sites for hold-ups. A second Putnam County parlor has been hit within a week.

Police say Mama Rose's on Hurricane Creek Road was robbed just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police say a man walked in wearing a black hoodie and showed a worker a knife, then demanded money. Officers believe he then jumped into a car and got away with cash.

Earlier, Putnam County deputies say a man went into Lisa's on Route 34 in Teays Valley and held-up a worker. They are still looking for the suspect.

WEIRTON STRONG-ARM ROBBERY - Two men have been arrested and are facing multiple charges after multiple strong armed robberies in the parking lot of the Walmart in Weirton.

Weirton Police have charged Christopher Popovich, 34, who allegedly approached multiple women in the parking lot and demanded money.

Police were able to locate Popovich traveling to Steubenville with Sean Rujak, 26, when the two were observed purchasing crack cocaine.
