MOMMA T'S WILL CELEBRATE GRAND OPENING

(05/07/2011)

Ed and Barb "love our new venture"

A grand opening will be held Saturday at Momma T's, formerly Parson's One-Stop, located at Pleasant Hill.

There will be music, balloons, face painting, baby goats for petting, and door prizes.

The public is encouraged to set up yard sales in the Zumba Room.

Ed and Barb Tingler, who now own the convenience store, offer many services.

"Ed and I love our new venture. Meeting new people, seeing old friends we haven't seen for years, and hopefully sending each of them out of our 'home away from home' with a smile," said Barb Tingler.

The store offers movie rentals, groceries, snacks, and a kitchen with a full take-out menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a section of the store dedicated to local crafts, and outside picnic tables have been added.

There are farm supplies, such as pet and livestock feed, seed potatoes, and fertilizer.

The store also has a tanning bed, with a large 'Zumba in the Zone' room, with Lisa Walker providing the service three days a week.

There is a drawing for a free pizza every Friday.

"We have a great group of employees with each of them bringing something new and different to the table. We are striving to make Momma T's a happy place to shop, work and be," Tingler said.
