The Calhoun-Gilmer Chronic Disease Treatment and Prevention Coalition cordially invite you and a guest to the National Clinical Research Education Day at the Gilmer County Senior Center on Monday, May 16.

"Aware for All" is provided by the Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research (CISCRP) and Participation, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering people to make informed decisions regarding participation in clinical research. CISCRP does not recruit patients or conduct clinical trials.

The free event begins at 5:00 p.m. with dinner served at 5:30 p.m.

The BBQ dinner is provided by Smoke House BBQ. You will hear stories from patients who have participated in clinical research and learn the benefits and risks.

Please call Donna Waddell of the Gilmer County FRN at 304-462-4545 to register.

This evening event is free but you are requested to register by May 9 so preparations are made for the right number of people.
