David H. Skau, 76, of Looneyville, Roane County, WV, died Friday May 10, 2002, in Roane
General Hospital, Spencer, WV.
He was born May 1, 1926, in Krishnarajapuram, India, a son of the late Olaf Alexander and
Maude Elizabeth Kipp Skau.
He was a retired Seventh Day Adventist Church missionary in Southeast Asia with 36 years
service.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Skau; two daughters, Sondra Spiva of Collegedale, TN
and Nyani Bayen of Bangladesh; two sons, Dr. David Skau of Portland, OR and Dr. Randell
Skau a missionary in Nigeria, West Africa; one brother, Paul Skau of Tracy, CA; one sister,
Phyllis Brown of Cave's Junction, OR and twelve grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Dennis Skau.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, May 15 at 2 p.m. in the John H. Taylor
Funeral Home,Spencer, with Pastor J. Allen Fine officiating. There will be no visitation.
