MAN SLICED WITH BOX CUTTER - The Nicholas County Sheriff says Don Goodson, 42, of Birch River and Eric Hoover, 35, of Beaver Falls PA got into an argument. The Birch River disagreement caused Goodson to pull a box cutter out of his pocket and cut Hoover across the chest. Police said Hoover received a large gash and was taken to a hospital. Goodson was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and taken to Central Regional Jail. FAIRMONT ARMED ROBBERY - Fairmont Police are looking for leads in an armed robbery of a home Monday. Police said residents woke up around 2:30 a.m to the robbery already taking place, indicating two light-skinned black men took out a gun and demanded money. The victim tried to stop the suspects, causing them to drop some of what they were trying to steal, police said. POLICE ARREST ARMED ROBBER - The Morgantown Police Department Detective Unit have arrested Wesley C. Greer, 25, of Shepherdstown on charges of 1st degree robbery. The robbery happened at a Morgantown residence early Saturday morning.
