The Mountain State shows one of the smallest census gains in the USA. The 2010 Census reveals the population rate of individuals in a square mile. Of regional counties, Ritchie has the lowest number per square mile at 23.1. Next is Wirt at 24.6 and Gilmer with 25.7. Then comes Calhoun at 27.3, Clay at 27.7, Braxton at 28.4 and Roane at 30.9. Plenty of room to move around.
