Harold N. Cornell, 82 - Nobe (04/02/2011) Harold N. Cornell, 82, of Nobe Community, Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away March 30, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a former professor at California State University at Los Angeles and attended the Five Forks Community Church. Surviving are his wife, Marietta Alagna Cornell; two daughters, Kathryn Conn of Oregon and Jessica Cornell of California; a son, Johnathan Cornell of California; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 8 at the Five Forks Community Church. Rev. Alfred Hickman will officiate. Stump Funeral Home of Grantsville is in charge of the arrangements.
